Developed by Nancy Inman, M.A.T., CCC-SLP, WordPower software is a unique vocabulary design for an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device.
A core vocabulary of just 100 words accounts for approximately 50 percent of words spoken. WordPower uses these 100+ core words with spelling and word prediction, which strengthens reading, writing and spelling skills.
Designed for use with Boardmaker® with Speaking Dynamically Pro, this word-based vocabulary is ideal for:
- Beginning readers needing symbol support
- Nonverbal users
- Users with language delays
- Users with cognitive impairment
Both scanning and direct-selection versions of the boards are included.
