You don’t have to recreate the wheel! Use therapy and classroom activities that other Boardmaker users have created and are sharing for free right now on called Boardmaker Online Community (a.k.a. BoardmakerShare and Adapted Learning.) Find print and interactive,on-screen activities that will meet the needs of your students and clients as is or with some editing by your Boardmaker program. Do know how to download, edit, and use these activities in your v6 or BM Studio program? Do you know how to edit them in you Boardmaker Online program and take data with the on-screen activities that are already created you to use? Attend this session to find out!.1 ASHA CEUS will be available.
Participants will be able to:
1. Discuss the different ways to find print and on-screen activities that will enable them to find activities for their students and clients.
2. Differentiate between types of activities to be able to identify which ones will work best with your Boardmaker program.
3. Demonstrate how to edit the activities for therapy and classroom use with your Boardmaker program.
Enid Hurtado received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential in Special Education: Moderate to Severe from San Diego State University. She worked as a Special Education Teacher for 6 years in California and Colorado with children of varying disabilities, Pre-12. After leaving the public school system, she worked as a behavior specialist for an Early Intervention Program. She currently educates and trains parents and professionals on the use of Boardmaker products for instruction.
