This session will teach you strategies for embracing this interest and using it to motivate, teach and reinforce the individual(s) with autism that you support. We will explore using special interests in the context of visual schedules, positive behavioral supports, and adapted curriculum. Along with these implementation ideas, we will also explore features and strategies for bring special interests, including sounds, songs, and videos, into activities created with Boardmaker Software Family.
