Developed by an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and examiner, Speaking English: Discussion Topics is made of cards that stimulate discussion and help students give their views and opinions on a situation.

How it works
Each card contains visual prompts and topics including:

• Travel
• Holidays
• Services
• The environment
• Entertainment
• Work

Cards have no wording, so they can be used in a variety of contexts, for a variety of tasks and with students who speak different languages. Through fun and enjoyable tasks, students will increase their ability to take part in discussions, while improving their language and communication skills.

Suitable for all ESL classes at an intermediate level, as well as for adult learning, and students with language delay.

Ages 13+.

Includes 30 laminated cards that can be photocopied and a teacher's manual with instructions.
