Fun for students to use, and easy for educators to adapt, each Curriculum Companion includes 18 adapted activities focused on instruction, practice and assessment for each theme. At the same time, activities help students build reading and writing skills with prompting support at adjustable levels to suit each student's individual needs and goals. Every interactive, on-screen Curriculum Companion activity can be viewed on any computer with Boardmaker® Plus!, Boardmaker® with Speaking Dynamically Pro or Boardmaker® Plus Player.

Identical structure provides consistency
All Curriculum Companion activities share an identical structure so students can spend time learning new concepts within a fun and familiar context, rather than spending time learning new activity structures. For even more control, the content can easily be modified to suit your students' unique needs.

Reading Supports
Supports for successful reading comprehension include text-to-speech, visual supports, interactive glossaries, idea maps and automatic visual and auditory prompting and reinforcement.

Writing Supports
Supports for successful written expression include a range of activities like errorless writing grids, sentence-building templates and target word banks.

Practice
Students demonstrate what they have learned and receive feedback on their progress with practice activities that include sorting, classifying, labeling, fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, true/false questions and more.

Quiz
