great for free apps

All the PCS Vocabulary flast cards are nice, easy to use apps which children seem to enjoy; especially kids on the autism spectrum seem to be attracted to them. I agree with a previous reviewer that it would be terrific if one could save the sets without reinventing the wheel. Thanks!

flashcard app

Nice simple app for flashcard review. A future option for this app that would be helpful would be if once you create a set of flashcards to use, the set could be retained for future use rather than having to reselect the flashcards the next time.

need a way to purchase add-ons as in app purchases are impossible for school districts using the vlume purchase program and Purchase orders.

good idea; but could be better

I loved the idea of being able to use the iPad for PCS flash cards, and that the symbols are the same as those we have used for years in Boardmaker. However, in my specific case, I found that some improvements could be made. We use the PCS symbols as a tool to provide choices for a non-verbal child, however, was disappointed that simple concepts, like "yes" and "no" were not included in available sets that I could find. Also, being able to place more than one flash card on the screen at one time would be useful for enabling a student to compare and make choices right on the device's screen. Those simple changes would make it an even more useful program for those who need a bit more support in their language skills. Thanks for another good option in the communication field, but please come out with more PCS sets!

Limited Ability to Customize

I was really looking for a vocabulary app that I can pick how many words I am targeting at a time. From what I see, you get all the cards and your only option is to shuffle the order. I would like to be able to select those I want to target and the number I want to target. First great attempt but needs work.
