Picture Bank
Activity Type: Explore
Try using this template as a reading comprehension tool that also supports background knowledge! The visual and audio contained within each button provides a great context for a student to integrate new information into their existing knowledge base.

Choice-Writing
Activity Type: Writing
Support students in their ability to engage in expository writing. With the Choice-Writing template, buttons are populated with conventional starter phrases and open-ended finishers so that students can compose thoughts that express what they are learning.

Onset Letters
Activity Type: Word Study
Help students demonstrate and reinforce the phonological patterns found in printed words. Each button is populated by a letter or a group of letters that function as the initial onset to a common word ending. Building words in this fashion helps students to develop the ability to generalize their knowledge of known words to help read and spell unknown words.

One-to-One
Activity Type: Math
Let students discover the meaning behind numerical symbols! Students manipulate related items into matching sets as a way to reinforce the understanding that each number represents a concrete set or group of objects. This opportunity to manipulate objects mathematically is critical to the development of mathematical reasoning needed for higher calculations.

Sorting
Activity Type: Sorting
Empower students to recognize how things are the same, different, and how they may or may not relate to each other. Especially great for Science, the sorting templates encourage students to make comparisons and draw conclusions about the things they are learning.

Labeling
Activity Type: Labeling
Introduce new concepts, ideas, and/or vocabulary within a meaningful context, rather than in isolation. Students have the opportunity to manipulate and explore how smaller parts or components contribute to the whole.
